James Leyland
BSc (Hons), MCSP, AACP, FAFS

I graduated in 2001 with a sports science degree from Chichester University before going on to gain an advanced diploma in sports therapy and then a 1st class degree in Physiotherapy from London South Bank University. I worked in the NHS for 10 years gaining experience in a wide variety of issues from post surgical and acute injuries, through to long term and chronic conditions.

I have been working in the private sector since 2013 and during that time I have used a variety of treatments to help patients. These treatments include joint mobilisations, soft tissue release, myofascial release, taping, electrotherapy, acupuncture, shock wave therapy & exercise prescription.

My approach to assessments is a movement based one where I not only diagnose the condition but also identify and treat any underlying movement patterns disorders in order to prevent reocurrence.
